ANXIETY, DEPRESSION & EMOTIONAL WELLBEING

Sometimes life can feel harder than it should.

You may find yourself worrying about things that never used to trouble you, feeling constantly overwhelmed or struggling to find enjoyment in everyday life. Perhaps your confidence has gradually disappeared, or you are feeling low without really understanding why.

These feelings can be exhausting, particularly when you're trying to carry on as normal and those around you don't always realise how difficult things have become.

When Anxiety Takes Over

Anxiety can affect so many areas of our lives. You may find yourself overthinking conversations, worrying about the future, struggling to relax or feel constantly on edge.

Sometimes anxiety has an obvious cause. At other times, it can seem to appear from nowhere.

Counselling offers an opportunity to explore what might be behind these feelings, recognise patterns that are keeping you stuck and begin to develop ways of managing anxiety that work for you.

Living With Low Mood or Depression

Depression isn't always about feeling sad.

Sometimes it is a loss of motivation, feeling disconnected from others or finding that things that you once enjoyed no longer bring the same pleasure.

You might feel tired, withdrawn, irritable, or simply unlike yourself.

Having somewhere to explore these feelings without pressure or expectations can be an important first step towards understanding what you're experiencing and what might help.

Finding Your Way Forward

There is no expectation to arrive at counselling knowing exactly what is wrong or what you want to change.

We can begin wherever you are.

Together, we can explore the difficulties you are facing, what matters to you and what you would like to be different in your life.

Change doesn't have to happen all at once. Sometimes it begins with understanding yourself a little better.

Taking the First Step

If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or other emotional difficulties, please feel very welcome to get in touch.

You don't have to wait until things become unbearable before seeking support.
